Setting Global Paremeters |
Shopfront - Global Parameters
Many of the settings for Shopfront can be found in
This list details the available options and their behaviour. Items shown as (numeric) should be entered as numbers only.
| Program Settings |
REFRESH_RATE (numeric)
The time interval in minutes for refreshing xcart orders. |
XC_EXPORT_DIRECTORY
Directory used for exporting shop data (registered versions only). |
| Mail Settings |
SMTP_PORT (numeric)
Port used by your SMTP (Simple Mail Transport Protocol) server. This entry must exist if you wish to use the email facilities within Shopfront. If you unsure which port your mail server uses, try port 25 as this is the most common. |
SMTP_HOST (xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx / mail.domain.com)
The address for your mail server this can be a straight forward IP address (eg. 192.168.1.1) or a url such as mail.yourdomain.com. |
SMTP_USERID
Username for logging onto your mail server (SMTP_HOST). Quite often this is simply the full email address. |
SMTP_PASSWORD
Password for the mail account (SMTP_USERID). |
MAIL_BCC (
This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it
)
BCC (Blind Carbon Copy) address for emails sent through Shopfront. |
MAIL_SENDER
Senders name as you want it to appear within the emails. |
MAIL_SENDERADD (
This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it
)
Senders email address. Normally this would the email address belonging to (SMTP_USERID). |
| Lookup URL's |
DEF_TRACKING
Default tracking URL entered as "http://yoursite.com?parameter=" is replaced with the data contained in the orders tracking field. |
POSTCODE_URL
Link to postcode lookup url entered as "http://yoursite.com?parameter=" is replaced with the postcode for the current order. By default the link is set to use Google maps. |
USER_HOMEPAGE
User home page link which is assigned to the Home button usually found on the main toolbar. |
USERLINK #01 / #02 / #03
User links that are usually available from the category on the sidebar. Any correctly formatted URL can be used. |
